Wall Measuring Instructions

1. Use a tape measure to get the widest width and tallest height of your wall. Only measure the wall—don’t include any baseboards or moulding.

2. Enter these measurements on the product page, pick your paper type, and complete checkout.

How To Measure

Accurate measurements ensure a perfect wallpaper fit. Follow these steps for different wall types, using the illustrations provided as a visual guide.

Bed Walls

For walls directly behind a bed or other furniture:

Measure Total Width: Measure the full width of the wall from one end to the other, even if the bed or furniture covers part of it.

Measure from Floor to Ceiling: Measure the height from the floor to the ceiling, capturing the complete wall area.

Walls with a Staircase

For walls that run alongside a staircase:

Measure the Full Length and Height: Start by measuring the length of the wall along the staircase from end to end. Then measure from the highest point of the wall to the floor.

Standard Walls

Measure Width: Measure from one side to the other at the widest point.

Measure Height: Measure from the floor to the ceiling.

Walls with Doors or Windows

Measure Total Wall Area: Measure the wall as if the door/window wasn’t there.

Sloped or Angled Walls

Measure Full Height and Width: Take measurements at the highest and widest points.

Partial or Half Walls

Measure Width: From one end to the other.

Measure Partial Height: From floor to the wall’s top edge.

Multi-Wall Rooms (Corners)

Measure Each Wall Separately: Take width and height measurements for each wall.
